Mike’s Pizza Dough Recipe

This is my super easy pizza dough recipe. It can be made by hand kneading or with a bread machine, but if you opt to use bread machine, make sure you load the ingredients in the order shown. This should yield 2 large thin crust pizza’s or 2 medium standard crust pizza’s.

Instructions

Step 1
Add the ingredients in your bowl or bread machine pot. If using a machine, set machine to dough setting. If kneading by hand, knead until all ingredients are thoroughly blended, then pull sides over body of dough and let rest 5 minutes between pulls of all 4 sides. Repeat a minimum of 3 cycles. After kneading process is complete, let dough rise 1 hour and then slice into two equal pieces for immediate pizza preparation or freezing. I recommend shaping your pizza on a well floured surface with a dusted rolling pin, and then place prepared pizza dough in I’ve first without any toppings or sauce. Once the dough is starting to brown on surface, check for desired crust consistency, then remove pizza and add sauce, cheese and toppings. Finally, cook until edges begin to brown, then remove and serve.
