Instructions
Step 1
In a stand mixer with hook, combine flour, yeast salt, 2 tbsp olive oil and just 10 oz of warm water. Once mixed continue to add remaining 4 oz of water.
Step 2
Dough will be sloppy. Knead for 3-5 minutes till it comes to together into a ball. Will still be sticky.
Step 3
Oil a bowl and place dough in; cover and let rise at room temperature for 1 hour (should double in size)
Step 4
Pour 1 1/2 tbsp tbsp olive oil on cookie sheet and remove dough from bowl. Push flat until you can stretch it. Stretch across baking sheet and cover again. Let rise for another 30 minutes.
Step 5
Make indentations in dough with your finger tips. Sprinkle remaining 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil over top of bread and season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Now become your own artist and place ingredients on canvas. Some examples: Asparagus, Potato, Green Onions, Olives, Capers, Lemon slices, bell peppers, red onion, rosemary, thyme, artichoke hears, tomatoes, parsley, arugula, etc. You are only limited by your own imagination.
Step 7
Place in preheated 425 degree F oven for 25 minutes or until bread begins to brown.
Step 8
Finish with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese on top. Enjoy!!
