Ingredients
4 servings
1can cream of celery soup
2 canscream of chicken soup
or one family size
1 x 32 ozfrozen southern style hash browns
1 cuphalf and half
regular milk works but makes a less rich soup
½ tspground black pepper
1soup can
water, or milk, to your preference of thickness- i add more milk later if it is too thick
1 ½ ccheddar cheese
shredded, or mixed cojack, mexican cheeses, etc
Instructions
Step 1
Place all ingredients in crock pot. Set on low for 6 hrs. ( I have also done it on high for less time in a pinch, but it will burn if left too long on high) Serve with bacon bits and sliced green onions.
I have also added.long green chile strips to kick it up a bit!
Step 2
Add 1 1l2 cups shredded cheddar cheese and stir in to melt.
