20 ouncesfrozen corn
thawed

4 cupsdeli ham
cubed

2onions
small, chopped

4celery ribs
chopped

4garlic cloves
minced

¼ teaspoonpepper

24 ounceschicken broth

2 tablespoonscornstarch

2 cupswhole milk

2 cupsshredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cupsour cream

3 tablespoonsfresh parsley
minced
Instructions
Step 1
Place the first 8 ingredients in a 6-quart slow cooker. Cook, covered, on low 8 to 10 hours or until potatoes are tender.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and milk until smooth; stir into soup. Cook, covered, on high 20 to 30 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Add cheese, sour cream and parsley. Stir until cheese is melted.
