chopped or crumbled
Seasonings to taste - optional
Instructions
Step 1
Melt the butter, or heat the oil over medium heat.
Step 2
Add flour, quickly mixing into the butter. Should be a very wet paste.
Step 3
Cook on med-low heat until it reaches the desired color, or add milk immediately, pouring slowly and stirring constantly.
Step 4
Add the cheese and bacon when the sauce has thickened, and stir until the cheese is melted. Add seasonings.
