Instructions
Step 1
1-Cook the arborio rice in chicken broth according to the directions then allow the rice to cool down so it can be handled.
Step 2
2-Mix the cooked rice with egg, grated Romano cheese, mozzarella
Step 3
3-Decide how big you want the rice balls, I use a 1/4 cup scoop for mine. 4-Form the rice balls
Step 4
4-roll in the bread crumbs.
Step 5
5-Heat the oil to 375 degrees in a frying pan and fry a couple rice balls at a time, too many will cause the oil to cool down.
Step 6
6-Once the rice balls are completely fried on all sides remove to a paper towel lined plate to drain and continue frying until they are all done.
Step 7
I serve with tomatoes from a 28 ounce can of whole plum that I crush with my hands and warm up. Simple is best.
Step 8
