Instructions
Step 1
Slice fresh shallot into thin slices, transfer to a plate, set aside.
Step 2
Heat up frying oil in a pot until temperature reaches around 350 °F, gently put sliced shallots in the oil to fry on medium heat until they turn gold brown, which might take 20+ minutes. Remove fried shallots from hot oil to drain and air fry.
Step 3
Transfer fried shallots to a container, use as needed for garnish or stir-fry dishes.
