Step 1

Mix up your three base mixes and set them aside.

Step 2

Cream together butter and sugar then add in the egg.

Step 3

Add in the almond powder and baking soda and mix until well incorporated.

Step 4

Divide up the base appropriately and add in your base mix to the right amount.

Step 5

Wrap up each base dough and chill overnight.

Step 6

Stretch each base dough into a stick (the light dough into 2) and stick them together.

Step 7

Cut them into disks and arrange the disks into a neat pattern and roll to squish them together.

Step 8

Cut out your cats (or cows or dog or other spotted animals) and bake 338° 12-15 minutes

The dough can be rekneeded to make more.
