This pizza recipe is slightly adjusted from the original in The Spruce Eats to use yeast not already "activated". This recipe can be easily doubled, just make sure you have enough pans! Make sure the water is warm but not hot to avoid killing the yeast.

Instructions

Step 1
In a medium bowl, stir yeast and sugar into warm water. Let sit (activate) for about 8-10 minutes.

Stir in salt and oil.
Step 3
Mix enough flour to knead the dough. Knead for 3 minutes. Add more flour a little at a time if too sticky.
Step 4
Place dough into a greased bowl and flip it over so the top is also lightly greased. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 20-30 minutes.
Step 5
Press the dough into a greased or parchment-covered pizza pan. Pinch or fold the edges a little to form the crust. Add sauce and toppings.
Step 6
Bake at 400° F for about 20 minutes.
