Instructions

Step 1
Dice bacon into small pieces then fry until fragrant and browned .

Roll out the puff pastry then spread cream Cheese on half of it . ( you will need to keep 1-3 of the cream cheese for the next part ) sprinkle 2/3 Of the bacon over the cream cheese then grate the cheddar and sprinkle 2/3 on top . Sprinkle black pepper on top .

Step 3
Fold the pastry over covering the cream cheese filling then cover half of the remaining surface area with the leftover cream cheese bacon cheese and pepper and fold over again . Make 8 slices then twist each slice twice and place on parchment paper on a baking tray

Step 4
Beat an egg then brush over the tops of the dough and sprinkle poppy seeds on top. Bake at 180 c for 25 mins or until golden
