pesto! it’s the foundation for so many dishes.
don’t pass it up especially in the summer when
fresh ingredients are everywhere. approximate measurements here. i’m a handful of this and that girl. adjust where needed. no chopping either. throw it all in the blender!

Step 1
pour the olive oil in first.
Step 2
rinse off the herbs, pat dry and throw it all in the blender. cheese, whole garlic cloves, salt and pepper. if pesto is thick and won’t purée add a little more olive oil in and water. a tablespoon at a time. you probably won’t need more than 1, plus you don’t want watery pesto. purée until smooth. that’s it.
