Instructions
Cinnamon Filling
Step 1
In a small bowl combine flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon with a fork and mix it until well combined.
Streusel
Step 2
Add brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt into a medium bowl. Whisk together, add melted butter and mix that together until mixture is crumbly.
Pound Cake
Step 3
In small bowl mix together flour and baking powder.
Step 4
In large bowl beat butter and sugar until looks crumbly then add your yogurt.
Step 5
Add in the eggs one at a time mixing well in between each addition. Add vanilla extract.
Step 6
On medium speed add half of your flour mixture into the wet and mix then add your buttermilk and mix and then add the rest of the dry mixture in to the wet, batter should be thick.
Step 7
In a 9x9 cake pan pour half of the batter in to the pan smoothing it out making sure everything is even. Sprinkle all of your cinnamon filling on top. Spread the remaining batter over the cinnamon filling. Top it with the streusel and bake it at 350 for about 35-40 minutes or until knife or toothpick comes out clear.
Step 8
Allow the cake to cool for 20 minutes before cutting.
