Instructions

Step 1
Dissolve yeast and honey in warm water, let stand 5 mins.
Step 2
Combine 2 cups of flour and salt in a large bowl. Add room temp butter and whisk to combine.
Step 3
Add yeast mixture to flour mixture and combine, turn out on a floured surface and knead, adding flour as needed to make the dough smooth and elastic but still a little sticky. It can take up to 3.5 cups of flour About 10 minutes
Step 4
Put dough in an oiled bowl and cover, let rise for 1 hour.
Step 5
Punch dough down and shape as desired, cover the dough, and rise for another 40 mins to an hour.
Step 6
Bake at 400° for 20 mins, depending on the shape of your dough.
Step 7
Cool on wire rack.
