Instructions

Step 1
Finely chop the onion and softened in the olive oil on a medium heat for 5 minutes. Turn the heat up to brown for a couple of minutes.
Step 2
Add the butter beans and passata. Add the Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, paprika, onion granules, garlic granules, mustard powder, sweetener and some salt and pepper.
Step 3
Give the beans a stir and gently simmer over a low heat with the saucepan lid on for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 4
Serve on toast, with an egg, on the side of a fry-up – the possibilities are endless. The beans can be frozen once allowed to cool.
