Roast Beef Holiday Hawaiian Sliders

These holiday sliders will be perfect at your next event with friends or family. The caramelized onions bring out the flavor of the King Hawaiian Rolls.

Instructions

Step 1
Prepare ahead: roasted garlic & caramelized onions

Roasted Garlic Butter

1. Slice the tops off of a head of Garlic and place on aluminum foil.

2. Add olive oil, wrap up and place on a pan.

3. Bake in oven at 350 for 30-40 minutes till garlic is soft and golden.

4. Melt 1/2 stick of butter

5. Add worcheshire, onion powder, mustard and parsley.

6. Squeeze in roasted garlic and then mash till incorporated.

Caramelized Onions

1. Slice up onions, I cut in half, then I cut off tip and then follow the natural lines of the onion to cut slices and then chop off root.

2. Heat up 1-3 tbsp of olive oil and 1 tbsp of butter.

3. Add onions and cook on medium heat for 30-60 minutes, stirring frequently, but allow them to caramelize. Every few minutes the first 20 minutes then about every minute after that till they are brown and caramelized.

Sliders

1. Slice Hawaiian bread down the middle and take off top of bread.

2. Lay down roast beef, cheese slices

3. Add Caramelized onions and place on tops. Cut lines both vertical and horizontal on tops on sandwiches

4. Brush on roasted garlic butter

5. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees covered, uncover and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
