Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 180⁰C.
Step 2
• Blanch the broccoli florettes in boiling water for 2 min then plunge into cold water, drain well and patdry with teatowel
Step 3
• Line 20x24cm tin with baking paper
Step 4
• Place the pastry sheet over the tin, press into the corners then trim the excess pastry with a knife
Step 5
• Put ¾ of the cheese in the base of the pastry
Step 6
• Arrange the broccoli and toms on top
Step 7
• Top with remaining cheese.
Step 8
• Whisk together the egg, milk, onion, salt, pepper and mustard
Step 9
• Pour over the top
Step 10
• Bake on the bottom shelf of the oven for approx 40 minutes until golden and firm
Step 11
• Serve with salad and farm chutney
