Step 1
Chop garlic and shallot and add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. May need to push down ingredients and process again. Taste and adjust ingredients if needed. You can substitute fresh basil leaves for the cilantro (2 big handfulls), rice vinegar for the apple cider vinegar and/or lime juice for the lemon.
