⅓ ccream of wheat cereal

1 ¾ cflour
1 csugar
2 ½ tspbaking powder
½ tspcinnamon
½ tspsalt
½ cbutter
softened
¾ cmilk
1egg
2 tspvanilla extract

Instructions
Step 1
In a small bowl, mix together all cinnamon layer ingredients until fully combined. Set aside.

In a small bowl, mix together all topping ingredients until fully combined. Set aside.
Step 3
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl or in your kitchen aid bowl, mix together all dry ingredients.
Step 5
Using a hand mixer or your kitchen aid, beat in the butter for 1 minute.
Step 6
Add egg, milk and vanilla and beat for 1 minute.
Step 7
Prepare a loaf pan with parchment paper or non-stick spray. Pour in about half of the batter to the pan.
Step 8
Add the cinnamon layer to the loaf pan and spread evenly over the first layer of batter. You can choose to swirl the batters to create a design if you desire.
Step 9
Add remaining batter and spread so it evenly covers the cinnamon layer.
Step 10
Top with crumb topping and bake for 35-40 minutes or until an inserted knife in the center comes out clean. This is a dense cake so times may vary. If your top is browning too fast cover with aluminum foil.
