Salmon and brussel sprouts

one of my favorites. baked salmon and brussel sprouts. usually cook for 4 or 5 people.

Instructions

For the salmon

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Step 2
Chop all garlic together and separate correct amount for salmon and brussel sprouts
Step 3
Place parchment paper on cookie sheet and lay salmon it skin side down
Step 4
Brush olive oil on salmon
Step 5
Zest lemon on salmon
Step 6
Squeeze lemon on salmon
Step 7
Brush garlic on salmon
Step 8
Crack pepper all over salmon

For brussel sprouts

Step 9
Use a big mixing bowl to put all ingredients in and then once mixed put on cookie sheet in thin one layer
Step 10
Cut brussel sprouts into quarter pieces and put into mixing bowl
Step 11
Add olive oil to mixing bowl
Step 12
Squeeze lemons into mixing bowl

Add garlic to bowl

Mix together and spread out evenly one layer on cookie sheet, if it's not single layer then some will be crispy and some soft or maybe undone. If your cookie sheet is not big enough, use more than one.
Step 15
Grind sea salt on top of brussel sprouts, it helps them get crispy in the oven.
Step 16
Place brussel sprouts in oven and set timer for 15 minutes

When timer goes off, add salmon and set timer for 25 min, leaving brussel sprouts in oven with salmon
Step 18
As soon as you take them out of oven, drizzle balsamic vinegar over brussel sprouts and cover salmon with foil. Let sit a few minutes then serve.
