Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F Mix shortening and sugar, add the eggs and beat well, then stir in the bananas.
Step 2
In a medium bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Step 3
Slowly add the flour mixture into the shortening mixture in small batches and mix thoroughly before adding more. Stir in walnuts when it's all mixed.
Step 4
Pour into greased loaf pan, bake for 45-50 minutes or till toothpick comes out clean. When done dump it out of the pan onto a cooling rack right away.
