Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (355°F), 160°C fan (320°F), gas mark 4. Spray a 900g (2lb.) non-stick loaf tin with a little cooking spray.

Step 2
Place the beef mince, turkey mince, and spices in a blender or food processor and blitz until fairly smooth. Remove from the blender and place the mixture into the tin, pressing it down into the corners.

Cover the tin with foil and cook for 1 hour 20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue cooking for another 10 minutes.

Leave to rest for 10-15 minutes, then remove from the tin, slice thinly, and serve with the lettuce, tomato, Greek yoghurt, mint sauce, and pitta.
