Combine all the seasoning ingredients into a small bowl

Place the pork butt on a large backing pan and rub the seasoning all over the pork butt. Let it sit in the fridge for 2-3 hours.

Place a large skillet on high heat, add 2 tbsp of avocado oil. When the oil starts to smoke, place the pork butt skin side down and sear until brown, about 5 min. Repeat on all sides of the pork butt. When finish, place the pork in the slow cooker bowl.
