Pecan Sticky Buns

These pecan sticky buns are huge! Gooey and sticky soft caramel and pecans are swirled around fluffy cinnamon roll dough. The brown sugar and cinnamon smells are so inviting and cozy. Makes 8 large or 12 small rolls.

Instructions
For the dough
Step 1
In large bowl, mix milk and sugar. Sprinkle yeast on top and mix slightly. Let sit 5 minutes.
Step 2
Mix in all ingredients except butter. When dough forms, turn out on floured surface and knead in butter, 1 tbsp at a time. Then knead for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Cover and rest 30 minutes.
Filling
Step 4
Mix filling ingredients except pecans.
Step 5
On floured surface or silicone mat, turn out dough and roll to 10x20 rectangle.
Step 6
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle sugar mix all over. Sprinkle pecans.
Step 7
Roll tightly and cut into 8 or 12 pieces.
Caramel Sauce
Step 8
In sauce pan, melt butter. Mix in all caramel ingredients except pecans. Boil and reduce to low. Cook and stir a few minutes until disolved.
Step 9
Spray glass baking dish and pour caramel sauce in dish. Sprinkle pecans over. place rolls cut side up equally in dish.
Step 10
Cover and rest 30 minutes.
Bake
Step 11
Heat oven to 350. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Remove and let sit 15 minutes.
Step 12
Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Flip dish over onto it. Cut and serve.
