Ingredients

2 tablespoonsbutter
0.5onion
chopped
0.5bell pepper
chopped
1 tablespoonminced garlic
1 lbground beef
2 teaspoonsgarlic powder
2 teaspoonsonion powder
1 teaspoonpaprika
1 teaspoonchili powder
salt
to taste
pepper
to taste
2 cupsmilk
1 cupwater
2 cupsdry macaroni
or pasta of choice
2 cupsshredded cheese
cheddar, colby jack are my favorite for this
1 tablespoonhot sauce
optional
Instructions
Step 1
In a large sauté pan- add butter, onions, bell pepper and garlic. Cook for 3-5 minutes on medium low heat until veggies soften.
Step 2
Add in ground beef and break up with a spatula. Cook on medium until meat is no longer pink. Stir in seasonings.
Step 3
Pour in milk and water and bring to a simmer.
Step 4
Stir in dry pasta and cover for 10-12 minutes until all liquid is absorbed. Mix halfway through. If pasta is dry and not cooked yet add 1/2 cup more water or milk.
Step 5
Turn off heat and stir in shredded cheese and optional hot sauce.
Step 6
Serve hot and enjoy!
