2 cupsself rising flour

1egg
1 cupjuniper sugar
tfd change, original used just regular sugar

1 stickbutter

1 cupwhole milk

1 tspvanilla extract

2 cupshuckleberries
if unavailable, use wild blueberries which are far easier to source
Instructions
Step 1
1 cup juniper sugar, made as follows: Grind ½ tablespoon of dried juniper berries in a spice or coffee grinder until it is a fine soft powder. Sieve out any large bits if necessary. Mix thoroughly with 1 cup of sugar. Place in jar and let sit overnight.
Step 2
Cream eggs, butter and sugar. Add flour, milk and vanilla. Sprinkle flour on berries to prevent them from going to the bottom. Add berries. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
