Instructions

Step 1
Slow cooker: just dump in all sauce ingredients. Stir. Add the rest and stir again. Meatballs should be just barely covered.

Instant Pot Instructions:

Step 2
Saute onions and mushrooms for a few minutes on Saute High setting.
Step 3
Prepare the chicken broth. Add the garlic for 30 seconds and then dump the chicken broth in.
Step 4
Turn off saute. Add all sauce ingredients & seasonings. Stir well. If adding extra chicken broth (need to test how much liquid is needed, I used 4c and it was too much, but I liked the extra gravy, just need 1-2tbsp cornstarch to thicken) use 2 tsp of beef base instead.
Step 5
Add single layer of meatballs. It should be covered.
Step 6
High pressure 5 minutes. Instant release.
Step 7
Saute on medium or high to thicken gravy. Might need a tbsp of cornstarch if it doesn't thicken enough.
Step 8
Serve with rice and mashed potatoes and a veggie!
