Instructions

Step 1
1. preheat the oven to 360° and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. set aside.
Step 2
2. melt the butter in the microwave (you can also brown it over the stove if you want) and whisk in the brown sugar until it’s fully combined. add the egg yolks and vanilla and whisk.

3. measure in the flour, salt, baking soda and cornstarch and fold until no more streaks of flour remain. add in the chocolate and fold.
Step 4
4. using a cookie scooper (i use a 3 tablespoon size), scoop out the cookie dough onto the prepared sheet, about 2 inches apart from each other.
Step 5
5. bake until the edges are set and golden and the middle has puffed up, about 8 minutes. allow to cool on cookie sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack.
