Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 190°C
Roll out pastry on a lightly floured to a thickness of about 2 mm
Step 2
Use to line a 20 cm pie dish.
Step 3
Mix together apples, cloves, cinnamon and lemon rind and pread in pie dish.
Step 4
Re-roll the pastry trimmings and cut 20 cm for the top of the pie. Place over pie and press edges together.
Step 5
Brush with water and sprinkle suger and bake for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
Step 6
Serve hot or at room temperature
