Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350°.
Step 2
2. Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon or spatula, until browned. Drain in a colander.

3. Meanwhile, unroll one can of crescent roll dough and gently press into the bottom of a 13x9-inch baking dish or pan, pinching the perforated edges together.

4. Add the cream cheese to the drained sausage in the same skillet. Cook over medium heat just until cream cheese is melted, stirring often.

5. Spread the sausage mixture to the edges of the dough.
Step 6
Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and lay it on top of the sausage mixture, pressing the edges of the top and bottom doughs together to seal it.
Step 7
6. Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until crescent roll dough is golden on top. Cut into squares.
