Ingredients

1 lbground turkey
¼ cupcarrots
shredded
6 ozmushroom
coarsely chopped
1 x 8 ozwater chestnuts
can, drained and coarsely chopped
1clove garlic
minced
2green onions
chopped
3 tablespoonshoisin sauce
2 tablespoonslow sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoonrice wine vinegar
2 teaspoonsred chili paste
12 leavesbutter lettuce
romaine, Boston, and iceberg also work
Instructions
Step 1
In a medium sized skillet over medium high heat, add the ground turkey. Cook and crumble until it is almost cooked throughout. Add carrots, mushrooms, water chest, green onions, and garlic. Continue to cook for 1 - 2 minutes until turkey is fully cooked and veggies are tender.
Step 2
Add the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and chili paste. Stir and let simmer for 1 - 2 minutes. Serve on lettuce leaves.
