Onion Marmalade
Onion jam is a fantastic sweet/savory additive to hamburgers or burritos.
Even though it is a canning recipe, you don’t have to can it. It stays good for a couple of months in the refrigerator.

Ingredients

2 tspGarlic
fresh

2 lbsonions

1 cuphoney

¼ tspMustard
ground

½ tspblack pepper

½ cupbrown sugar
3 Tbsppectin-flex batch
Low or no sugar needed

1 tspred pepper flakes

1 tspsalt

½ tspButter oil
or

½ cupcider vinegar

1 cupapple juice
Instructions
Step 1
prep ingredients and add them to a pot
Step 2
boil then add the honey/sugar
Step 3
boil again for a minute
Step 4
ladle marmalade into hot, prepared canning jars
Step 5
seal and add them to a boiling water canner
Step 6
boil for 10 minutes
Step 7
remove from canner and cool
