Mash the Potatoes
Step 1
1 hour before class, prepare the potatoes by boiling in hot water for about 45 minutes. To check if the potatoes are ready, stick a fork into the potato in boiling water and make sure it’s soft all the way through. Once ready, stain the potatoes and peel and mash with a masher or fork. The potatoes should be hot at the time of peeling/mashing.
