Step 1
Combine everything but the chicken in a blender or whisk and pulse until smooth.

ginger1 tablespoon
brown sugar2 tablespoons
reduced-sodium soy sauce¼ cup
chinese five spice powder2 teaspoon
Step 2
Put the chicken in a little salt and pepper and into a plastic zipper bag. Pour the marinade over, seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour and up to overnight.
Step 3
When ready to cook, remove chicken from the marinade and place it in a baking dish. Bake in a preheated 400-degree F oven for about 45 minutes, or until cooked through.
