For the chicken
600gchicken thigh fillets
3 Tbspbbq sauce
2 tspchinese five-spice
1 tsphoney
1 tsppaprika
2 Tbspdark soy sauce
salt

Step 1
Combine all the ingredients for the chicken in a mixing bowl to marinate the chicken. Refrigerate for 30 minutes prior to cooking (we would recommend doing this the night before if you can to maximise flavour!).
Step 2
Place the marinated chicken thighs on a baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes at 180c.
Step 3
While the chicken is cooking, you can opt to either cook some rice or noodles depending on your preference. If choosing noodles, feel free to toss any vegetables in with it.
Step 4
Serve the cooked chicken on top of the rice, or noodles and garnish with spring onions, sesame seeds, chilli flakes and a wedge of lime.
