Focaccia (bread machine)
Focaccia is easy and inexpensive, a great take along to a dinner party. Add whatever seasonings you like or leave it plain. We use it for tuna melts. You can also bake at a higher temp to get a more crusty bread.

Step 1
Add water, sugar, salt, flour and yeast to bread machine in that order. You can also add garlic powder and dried herbs here to make it flavoured. Run dough setting. Once complete, dump only parchment lined baking sheet and press finger tips into dough, spreading it out. Cover with clean dish towel and let rise another 15-30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375°F for soft crust, 400°F for medium crust and 425°F for crisp crust. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake until golden, for higher heats tapping on bread souls sound hollow.
