Instructions

Step 1
Place 1" water and the squash in a microwave safe and oven safe bowl or pan. Cover with plastic wrap.
Step 2
Microwave 10 minutes or until skin is slightly soft. Slice squash in half, remove seeds. Squash should be tender. If it's still raw, microwave in 2 minute intervals. Remove plastic.
Step 3
Divide butter and syrup between the 2 pieces of squash. Bake 350 until hot and sizzly. Top with cheese. serve.
