Instructions
Step 1
Layer cake along the bottom of the dish.
Step 2
Layer the peaches next.
Step 3
Mix together the jello and hot water following the package instructions.
Step 4
Pour over the cake and peaches until just barely covered. The jello will soak into the cake ending up just below the peaches.
Step 5
Let sit in fridge until set, preferably overnight.
Step 6
Once set, lightly pour over some wine (optional) and then make the custard following package instructions.
Step 7
Pour the custard over the trifle. Let set until thick.
Step 8
Whip the cream with a bit of sugar and plop over the top of the custard. Shave chocolate over the top to garnish.
Step 9
Serve immediately.
