This is a easy basic marmalade recipe with the subtle addition of lavender and rum

Instructions
Step 1
Cut the lemons and oranges in half then slice thinly
Step 2
Place lemons and oranges in a large pan with the water and cook until the flesh separates from the peel approximately 5 to 10 minutes
Step 3
Add the lavender and rum and cook for 5 minutes
Step 4
Add sugar and stir in
Step 5
When it starts to bubble take of the heat and stir its do this 4 or 5 times so off the heat stir back on till it bubbles and repeat its ready when it coats the back of a spoon and keeps a line when you run a finger across the spoon
Step 6
Pour in to jars I like to get a clean pair of kitchen scissors and roughly chop the peel in the jar
