Instructions
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 375. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
Step 2
Combine almond flour, baking soda, and sea salt. Set aside.
Step 3
Let butter warm to room temperature. Mix butter and maple syrup in a mixer or by hand until creamy but not fully incorporated, about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add whole egg, egg whites, and vanilla extract; mix 2 min more.
Step 5
Slowly add dry ingredients to egg mixture and mix for 1 minute.
Step 6
Add chocolate chips and mix until well combined.
Step 7
Place large rounded tablespoonfuls onto prepared backing sheets, about 1 inch apart. Flatten slightly to 1-inch thickness. Makes 25 cookies.
Step 8
Bake until set and golden, about 15 minutes.
