Instructions
Step 1
Put margarine into a mixing bowl and melt in microwave for about 1.5 minutes. You can melt on the hob if you wish.
Step 2
Stir in sugar, golden syrup and salt. Work in rolled oats and anything else you wish up to the 8oz quantity.
Step 3
Press into an 8" square tin, greased and lined with parchment paper.
Step 4
Cook for 20 minutes at 150C, it may need longer.
