Instructions
Step 1
Firstly, in a large bowl take Besan (Gram Flour) and crumble with ghee and milk.
Step 2
Sieve the crumbled Besan with the help of sieve. keep aside.
Step 3
Now in a large thick bottomed Pan, heat a cup of ghee.
Step 4
Add in crumbled and sieved besan.
Step 5
Combine well keeping the flame on low.
Step 6
Keeping the flame on low-medium till the mixture turns golden brown.
Step 7
Transfer the sugar syrup over besan mixture.
Step 8
Stir continuously, till the sugar syrups combines well with besan mixture.
Step 9
Continue to stir for 5 minutes or till the mixture cools and slightly thickens.
Step 10
Further the ghee absorbs and the mixture turns sticky.
Step 11
Transfer the mixture to the greased plate.
Step 12
Level it up and set to a block making an inch thick.
Step 13
Add finely chopped pistachios and cashews.
Step 14
Cool completely for 2-3 hours.
Step 15
Cut the mohanthal into square pieces.
Step 16
Finally, serve or store mohanthal for a week by refrigerating
