Instructions
Step 1
Prepare chicken by frenching them. To do that cut chicken drumettes at the base (thinnest part of chicken wing) and scrape the flesh until bone is exposed. Cut the tip of the bone for a cleaner look. Push the flesh of the drumette towards the thicker part of the chicken bone.
Step 2
In a clean bowl add salt, paprika, bouillon cube, garlic powder , onion powder, parsley and oil. Squeeze in lemon juice and add soy sauce.
Step 3
Give this a good mix until well combined. Add in the chicken drumettes and ensure they are well coated.
Step 4
Marinate for 2-3 hours (optional). Place chicken in a baking tray spacing them out evenly. Bake at 375°C or 190°F for 20-30 minutes or airfry.
Step 5
Make chicken glaze by adding barbecue sauce, sriracha sauce and honey/pancake syrup in a small jar or bowl. Give a good mix and dip cooked chicken in the glaze making sure it is well coated with the glaze.
Step 6
Place back in oven and bake or airfry for 10 minutes.
