Instructions
Step 1
Marinate roast in 1 packet of au jus packet, 1 cup water, 1/3 cup soy sauce, garlic, onion and ginger in large roasting bag or ziplock for at least 24 hours. Flip bag/rotate roast after 12 hours
Step 2
On day of roast let roast come to room temperature: 3-6 hours
Step 3
Preheat oven to 500 degrees
Step 4
Mix 2 sticks room temp salted butter with garlic salt, lawry’s salt, chives, pepper and parsley. Amount depends on size of roast.
Step 5
Spread butter mixture on entire roast.
Step 6
Bake in middle of oven for 5 min per pound of roast. Ex. 5 pound roast = 25 min at 500 degrees.
Step 7
DO NOT OPEN OVEN. Turn off oven and let roast stand in oven for 2 hours.
