Instructions
Step 1

In a large soup pot, melt the butter. Stir in flour: heat and stir until smooth.





Step 2

Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened. Add potatoes and 1/2 of the onions. Bring to boil, stirring constantly.






Step 3
Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients reserving the onions, 1/4 cup cheese and 1/4 of the bacon for sprinkling on top of individual servings.










Step 4
Stir ingredients in pot until cheese has melted. Serve in individual bowls using the reserved leeks, cheese, and bacon for on top of individual
