Step 1
1: Gently fry the onion in the oil for 5 minutes then add the garlic and cook for a further 2 minutes. Stir through the puree for a minute then add the oregano then the fresh and chopped tomatoes. Bring up to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes. Mash down if required then season with salt, pepper and a little sugar if needed. Finally stir through the basil.
