Step 1
Mix together the ingredients for the dough and kneed until smooth

Roll into a long rope and shape into a pretzel

Combine boiling water and bicarbonate soda, blanch the pretzel in the water for 20 seconds

Transfer pretzel to a baking sheet and thinly brush over some beaten egg or milk
