Classic southern chicken and dumplings with a slight cheat

Instructions
Step 1
Add water to soup pot and set to boil
Step 2
Break down whole chicken into parts (breasts, legs, wings)
Step 3
Once water reaches boil, add in chicken with some salt
Step 4
Boil until chicken is cooked fully
Step 5
Set chicken aside to cool
Step 6
Strain leftover broth and pour strained broth back into the pan, leave on low
Step 7
Shred chicken off the bone and add back to broth, leave heat on low
Step 8
Take canned biscuits and roll out thinly, cut into strips
Step 9
Flour the biscuit strips and use your fingers to pinch off bits to make dumplings
Step 10
Once all the dumplings are made add to the pot with the broth at a boil and allow to cook fully
Step 11
Season to taste and serve
