2 lbsground beef

1onion
large, chopped

6 clovesgarlic
chopped

0.5red bell pepper

⅓ cupchili powder

1 ½ teaspoonsground cumin

1 ½ teaspoonsdried basil

1 x 28 ozcan diced tomatoes with juice

1 x 4 ozcan diced green chilis
drained

15 oztomato sauce

12 ozbeef broth

1 tablespoonwhite vinegar

3 tablespoonsbrown sugar

1 teaspoonhot pepper sauce

2 teaspoonssalt

½ teaspoonground black pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook beef, onion, garlic, and red pepper in pan and drain. Combine chili powder, cumin, and basil, sprinkle over beef. Stir to coat the meat and toast the spices. Pour everything else in and simmer for 3 hours or crock pot on low.
