Chocolate peanut butter lactation cookies

6 steps
Prep:10minCook:13min
Yields 10-12 Large cookies depending on size. Eating one or two a day has helped myself and other nursing mothers increase milk supply. These cookies are high in fat, but extremely nutritious and packed with protein, fiber and vitamins. Butter can be replaced with coconut oil to make them full of healthy fats which make milk supply more filling and healthy for your baby. Brewers yeast is an important beneficial ingredient but has a bitter taste, so more tablespoons can be added to make them more effective if you can stand a stronger bitter-nuttier flavor. Please see other lactation cookie recipes that contain different flavors, gluten free options and less fats if desired.
