French Meat Pie

Instructions

Step 1
In large skillet combine ground beef and ground pork, stirring until meat is browned and separate. Add spices and stir to combine.
Step 2
In saucepan, boil potatoes and onion together until tender. Drain and mash. Add a little salt and pepper.
Step 3
Add the meat mixture to the potato mixture and mix until combined.
Step 4
Preheat oven to 425-degrees F. Turn the meat and potato mixture into pie crust-lined pan. Cover with remaining crust and crimp edges to seal. Cut slits in top crust.
Step 5
Bake in hot oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven. Cool to room temperature and chill.
Step 6
Reheat in 350-degrees F oven before serving. Serve warm.
